    Unhappy reconnecting modem schedule

    i have got utstarcom ut300rtu
i read the forums and found that we can schedule the modem to get disconnected and reconnect at specific time .
i'm facing problems of losing connection every 30 mins(not exactly ) but in the 31 st min if connection comes the torrent will resume downloading only sometimes. most of the time i have to switch off modem nd on it again
is there any solution for this i'm using ppoe method to connect
some friends or brothers please help
so that i dont have to sit all night not having good sleeps

this might sound weird but what if there is some script on your pc which runs every half and hour and reboots your modem.. leave the modem on and switch off your pc.. and then check in the portal if it disconnects every 1/2 hr or not
