10 computers will require a 2mbps connection for good speeds on all computers because speed will be shared between 10 computers.currently only BSNL provides 2mbps business connections with reasonable rates & data transfer limit.check bsnl site for more details.

First of all if you go to BSNL you cannot opt for Home plan. You will have to opt for Business Plan only. No idea about Airtel but I believe that companies such as Airtel, Sify, Reliance help in setting up an i-cafe franchise.
As whitestar said, if you go to BSNL, you should opt for 2 mbps Business plan to start with and see how it goes. Be careful and please do implement virus control and internet protection software on all machines. You do not require a multi user connection but you will need to have some software that will measure internet bandwidth usage so that you can charge accordingly to your customers.

go for any decent plan you think would work.. and track the usage for 1 or 2 months and then choose a plan accordingly!!
You may also look into getting some sort of bandwidth distribution/shaping appliance. They range in price from a few thousand dollars to in the 10s of thousands. Obviously, for an operation your size, you might want to look into something more affordable. NetEqualizer is a good place to start if you just want to keep things fair and equally distributed. They start at around two thousand. Of course, there are more expensive options that offer more indepth shaping, like Packeteer, but I doubt you need that at this point. Good luck with teh business.
