Default Difference between DSL & ADSL

Hi,

I bought a Netgear wireless 54G Router. When i asked the BSNL Braodband engineer to setup the wireless connection, i was told that the router is a DSL router, and i would need an ADSL router.

Kindly explain the difference, and suggest remedies.

Please go through this guide
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...er-wrt54g.html (Setup of ADSL Modem/Router UT-300R2U with Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G)

You dont need an ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) router because the modem which BSNL is giving is already a modem + router in-built.
