Thread: Help Request - Settings for Linksys ADSL Router WAG354G v2

Hello Friends,

I recently applied to BSNL 750UL. Since I am returning from Gulf I had my ADSL router I had used over there. The model is Linksys WAG354G v2. In the BSNL application form, I said that I have my own modem. Now the BSNL people do not want to touch my ADSL to configure it. I have been given the user name and password. Please could someone give the the BSNL configuration set.

Most Linksys routers have very similar configuration methods. You must connect your hardware as follows:

a) 1st Entry point of external telephone line --> Splitter --> (data port) --> RJ11 connector of Linksys (via RJ11 telephone connector)
(voice/telephone port of splitter must go to all other telephone lines of your home)

b) Connect your desktop/laptop by RJ45 (LAN) cable

c) Use any one of the following values to configure (ignore the UT-300R2U part - this must be done in your linksys router itself):

BSNL is yet to activate the internet on my telephone line.
