    Default MT841 troubleshooting

    Hi,
    I have a MT841 that I have used for 2 years now. Last 3 days when i switch on, the LEDs for alaram,link,acct,usb. Could this be a problem with modem or bsnl phone line. any test i can do to figure out?

    sorry didnt get your question?? those LEDs are not switching on?

    the modem is type IV. When the modem is turned on and connected to laptop, only the power and LAN1 lights get on.

    login to modem and try connecting manually. See system log files of the modem to traceout the cause of this nonconnectivity. You might be able to predict whether modem issue or line problem.
