Default How can I share Broadband without HUB/SWITCH

I have 2PCs with lLAN cards I newly Installed Broadband on 1# PC with BSNL medem/router UT-300R2U, it has 1LAN, 1USB. and 5mtr. crossover cable.

I want to share the net on both computers without HUB/Switchs.
Some people guide me use crossover cable to share the net.

But I want net available on both computers independently (not depending on host or server) and simuntaniously (both PCs available net at the same time)

anyone can raply me or mail me: *****@gmail.com

http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...onnection.html (Solution for multiple machines connecting to same BB connection)

Take a look at this guide see if this helps you

Connect one of your computer with the USB cable and the other one with the LAN cable and configure your modem to pppoe mode ............but first see the guide thoroughly!

@Player

is it possible I install another LAN on 1#PC ,

I first connect the modem to the 1# PC via LAN then two PCs connect with crossover cable.

PC 1 has to be switched on if computers connected to it needs internet access. you need to enable ICS(Internet Connection Sharing) for that

just like what player said,configure modem in pppoe mode then connect one computer using LAN & another by USB & you can use net on both computers simultaneously independent of each other.only requirement is that modem must be on.
