    Default configuring port forwarding & accessing advanced options in SIEMENS SL2_141

    if you have this modem you have noticed by now that you can not access advanced options like virtual server,port forwarding,DMZ etc when you open the modem configuration pages using 192.168.1.1. here is the solution.use this link--
    you will get a somewhat different screen showing advanced options which were not visible before.now you can setup port forwarding as shown in these screenshots.

    screenshots are provided by player who has this modem.here is the zip file containing all the screenshots of various steps.

    Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
    Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
    Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    configuring siemens c2110 modem for port forwarding is also not straight forward. you will not be able to access the menu directly.

    The solution is go to help menu and search for the required topic and you will find a link there.
    Or go to http://192.168.1.1/advan_menu.html and you can access all the required menus. for port forwarding go to configuration and then advanced security and you will get it there.

    In bridge mode all ports are open and no need of port forwarding. The download speed which u r getting is pretty good.

    give more details & also did you enter a static IP for both PC & LAPTOP in their LAN TCP/IP properties.port forwarding works for a specific IP only so you have to create 2 rules for port forwarding becuase PC & LAPTOP will get 2 different IP's through LAN & WIFI.

    you must assign a different static IP address to both laptop & PC.assign 192.168.1.5 to PC & 192.168.1.6 to laptop & then try.if you get any error in connection post full details along with the ipconfig /all results(type ipconfig /all in command prompt.it is there in windows accessories).

    @pratik007
    1.If you are on Dialer mode only DMZ option will be accessible.
    2.If on Router mode Always On PPP/PPpoE/PPPoA
    3.try 192.168.1.1/main.html Select Advanced again. Look for NAT
    4.or 192.168.1.

    Para two
    then after you enter ID admin password password or admin

    5.Type 192.168.1.1/scvrtsrv.cmd?action=view======>> For Virtual server
    6.Type 192.168.1.1/scprttrg.cmd?action=view ====>> For Port triggering
    7.Type 192.168.1.1/scdmz.html ======>>> For DMZ

    @pratik007
    1.Post ipconfig/all
    start run type cmd type ipconfig/all
    2.
    Mention the application/ website you need to do PF.

    Para two : A request.
    Please repeat original problem in brief.
    Changes/progress if any made etc . Difficult to go through so many different threads again and again from beginning: to help users trying to guide you.

    I think you are trying to use two computers one in Lan mode and another laptop in WIFI mode.

    The maximum speed of Home 750 UL plan is 256 Kb (32 KB). You won't get more than that, even if you port forward. Port Forwarding is of little use to Home 750 UL plan. But if it's a plan that offers 2 Mb (256 KB) or more, then it will allow you to download in a speed of 2 MB (256 KB) or near.

    You should be connected in "AlwaysON" PPP//PPPoE mode
    ( userid?PW stored in wan page of modem)
