but that was just one time out mate.. it could be for any reason.. if it had disconnected it would take atleast 5 -10sec to connect again.. then you definetly would have got more than 1 time out..did you try to open yahoo by typing 209.131.36.158 ?did it open?

see there are possibilities that your modem might be the problem. We can only predict, we cant assure you that modem is the culprit. we asked you to follow some of the intial troubleshooting steps to confirm that they are not causing serious problems for you. But there might be hidden facts also, there might be connectivity issue or modem problem. so we ask you to go and check next level of troubleshooting that change your modem and try. we understand that you are doing business, you dont want to waste your money. in that case, you can borrow a modem from your neighbour for a day and check. Before doing anything, confirm that your BSNL incoming connection is not creating any problem by asking nearby bsnl users

    Lightbulb Configuring D-Link GLB-502T ADSL2+ Router

For configuring in PPPoE always on mode.

Login to the modem and go to

    SETUP>WAN SETUP> NEW CONNECTION >

In the Name field type BSNL. Type your Broadband usename & password in the Username & Password field. Change the VCI valu to 35. Click on Apply button. After this is done click on TOOLS menu at top. Click on System Commands. Click on Save button - the page will refresh. After that click on restart, a dialouge box will pop up confirming the restart, click OK. The modem will restart - all leds will go off except the POWER led. After the DSL is estableshed the PPPoE led will glow indiacting that you are connected to net.

    Hope this helps you.
