    Talking BSNL Rocks....:)

    Yeah .... that's true ... here goes the reasons....
    1. Applied for a broadband connection in Feb ... a week later ... i got the phone connection .... another week later ..... Broadband connection ... but the engineer was so dumb .. he didnt even know to start the system ... i myself had to configure everything i learnt from this forum..

    2.There was no Installation charge .... or Deposit .... so ... I got both landline and Broadband without paying a penny ....

    3.Xcept for 2 days .... it hasn't gone down till now ... moreover the engineer attends the next day itself after calling the customer care ... sadly though he can't do much

    4.Seeing many of the billing problems .... i didn't download anything in the free download slot till april .... was waiting to get the portal id... i just got it from the customer care ... and was amazed to see everyting was just fine....

    But i am confused about these lines in the free period

    after all bsnl is improving, it is true at least when it comes to broadband because they knew that the competition is stiff in this category and all the users are young generation and dont like bad customer service and hence they are changing, which is good.

    to speak about free after 8 a.m. it is not free after 8 a.m. it is chargeable.

    wait for bill first.it may be possible that due to some glitch in bsnl software or maybe to protect customers from overbilling who forgot to stop the download at 8:00AM bsnl is showing such entries in free usage.i think that they give some kind of grace period for download starting at before 8AM & continued 10-15 min after 8AM.

    Good for you. This is not always the case. I got my connection after 2 months. It depends a lot upon CPE availability.

    That is right. The charges are collected in the first telephone bill.

    Usually there are no issues but sometime big time goof ups happen.
