Thread: SL2_141 Nokia Siemens Modem wifi configuration

Hello i recently got BSNL broadband and the modem is SL2_141 Nokia Siemens Modem. It is working fine when coonecting with the cable. But the WIFI is not working. Infact the WIFI signal is not showing. Can u Plz help me out.

if you mean wifi is not working go to the modem configuration & in there check that wifi is enabled(one user had the similar problem & turned out he didn't enabled this option in modem).if you mean net is not working when you are connected by wifi check that your modem is in pppoe mode(you get connected by just turning on the modem).

Thanks for the response. But the problem is that the WIFI signal in the modem is not showing. Otherwise it is ok. When i go to 198.168.0.1 the modem option wireless is not shown.

Sorry i typed the ip wrong 192.168.1.1

Plz tell me the steps where i can make the WIFI on.

did you try with the username and password as admin?

Yes, but there was no wireless option.

i m having same modem. For the last few days i m not able to access microsoft sites. IS it a server problem or IP problem? or anything else???

Can you access other security websites. If not it could be the conficker virus.
