Default New Error Faced with Torrents

    Hi guys,
I found in few of my torrents those i had added to bittorrent started showing error as :
    Error: Access is Denied.

What does this mean .After getting this error that torrent stops downloading even though it has seeds and peers. When i say start then it starts again and then after some time it does it again .
Does anyone know whats the problem ?

well i have seen this before

In some torrents trackers ban users from downloading if the upload/download ratio is very bad

i know a torrent site which will ban you from downloading for 36 hr since the upload of the new torrent file if the ration is below .75

Some sites just wont let you download until you have a ration of at least .75

This could be one reason which i have seen
    their may be others

    To find this out
try to create a new user account on that site and then download and see if it allows

i had this problem once and i think it was because i changed the folder to which it was to download to "read only" ... it could be either read-only permission thingy or no free space left.. or as gardencityboy mentioned

Well even i was of this notion that the people who seed may be restricting from access .
But is there any solution to this ...?

was the torrent you were using a private one?if yes then most probably its because of your low ratio.

what do u mean by this?
do u mean to say that before u complete the download(100%) u need to have a ratio of 0.75 ?
which means that the torrent stops downloading(or downloads slowly) until u upload it to reach ratio .75 ?

Yes. Even I am a bit confused here. How will the ratio reach .75 right at the start? The upload does not start big till you have at least 20% of the pieces in the torrent.

actually ratio begins with zero with the 1st private torrent you start to download.once that torrent finishes downloading you must keep seeding so that your ratio can be as high as possible.this the reason why there are only 1-2 leechers while seeders are always 5-10 or even more(in case of new torrents) so that their ratio remains respectable if not 1.ideal way to download from private torrents is that after finishing 1 download don't immediately start another download but keep seeding the torrent you just downloaded.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
