Thread: How to change setting of ZXDSL 831II modem

hi
I m using ZXDSL 831II BB modem
now i have allways on settings.
i want to change the setting for dial type.
In modem on position i connect when i want.(same as dialup)
plz tel me the steps to change settings

go to your modem settings (192.168.1.1) and go to the WAN page.. and edit the vpi/vci 0/35 .Change it from PPoE mode to Bridged mode and then create a dialer in windows xp..Read this for some ideas, though the modem is not the same, the procedure is similar Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How to Setup bridged mode in UT300R2U
