Unhappy needs help About Speed... :(

    Hi all...

I have read all your posts regarding boost UP Dataone broadband download speed.
I tryed all things one by one.

i have done setting of Qos bandwidth cache
    used optimization tools also,
changed primary and alternative DNS according to OpenDNS

but still not getting sufficient speed.

here is my PC config, and connection Plan.

AMd Athlon 64 X2 dual Core Processor 5600+
    2.80Ghz 2GB of Ram
    OS - XP SP2

    Broadband connection: -
    Home 700UL

Currently m getting very very very slow speed.. about MAX speed is 10 to 15 Kbps... please see attached image.
i think BSNL should provide atlist 40 to 50 Kbps...

if any one have any suggestion PLEASE reply me. "aliveoceans@gmail.com"

at last all readers sorry for my poor English...

    Thanks.....

first of all don't use such large fonts.we can read normal fonts.2nd of all always try to search the forums first for some information you might get.did you know that broadband speed problem in most cases is figured out by looking at some values in your modem configuration?open your modem(type 192.168.1.1 in your web browser).default username/password is usually admin/admin.in there look for some status/overview tab etc.note these values---SNR(downstream/local,upstream/remote) & Line Attn(downstream/local,upstream/remote).if any SNR value is below 10 or any Line Attn value is above 30-35 then something is wrong with your line.get it checked by bsnl.also don't connect any phone before splitter & line coming into house must directly go into the splitter first.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

this SNR is very low.it must be above 10 for smooth connection.anyway try to download something from microsoft site using a download manager like flashget,IDM etc & then see how much speed you get.max speed for 256kbps plan is 32KBps.also just to be sure get your line checked.

Thanks for all of ur replys..

from last 1 or 2 hours speed is playing arround 30 kbps,
actual speed is 8 times less means (your 'up to' KBPS(i.g. 256) / 8), it will never more then it....
