go to your modem's config page and post your SNR .. also ensure that all telephones are connected after the splitter

SNR must be greater than 10 & more the better.your down SNR is very low at 9db.it is around 20-25 for most users.get your line checked by bsnl.

There is something else, bit less important but good.
Enable auto-reconnection in BSNL dial up,

right-click on BSNL dialup icon in network connections,

    click properties,

    click "options" tab,

uncheck the box that says "prompt fo userid and password"

check the box below it which says "redial if line is dropped"

change the value of no of redial attempts to 40-50 or so ,as you like,

change redial interval to 1sec or as you like.

    click "ok"

so next time it disconnects, it'll reconnect without confirmation ,automatically.

Need more help, ask anytime.I am here.

hello.it must be problem disconnecting at certain periods.i found out that my modem was acting the same.i asked bsnl people.they told it was fire fault and is due to rain.lucky i checked that modem was heated few min after i on and disconnect started.so as cpu has a fan in computers to coolic same way i used ceiling fan for cooling.i kept the modem top of the table and checked where air from fan able to cool it.it worked like charm.one more thing.it might disconnect rarely.but mostly it will reconnect automatically.try out everyone.if ur lucky like me.it sure works.if any doubts.message my email id onlyajanth1987@gmail.com.cause rarely i visit this site.

try this if ur DSL lamp is steady after b/b disconnected automatically

when disconnected, see b/b connection in "My Network Places", refresh that page.
if b/b connection shows "disconnected", the problem is with ur PC.
    Solutions:
    1) reinstall Ethernet drivers
    2) set modem to pppoe mode, then restart modem and PC

    Smile it doesnt work

i downlaoded proper new driver from internet.it was best suited for my modem.blinking takes plsce much if modem is hot.this has nothing to with software.if it was driver problem net wouldnt connect and also any fault also net wouldnt connect.the problem lies mostly with modem.if setting r all right then is no mistake that modem is faulty.
