Thread: Where is the Problem????

Friend!!! from last 20 days I could not connect to the internet, because in bridge mode I am getting error 676 (phone line busy) error while in pppoe mode I am getting ppp down error. I called the BSNL people. they came to my house and change the line from exchange to my house. but still the situation remains unaltered. My DSl link is glowing fine. I took my modem to my firends house, where it works fine. I took my modem and Laptop to the telephone exchange, in that case also it is working fine. Now where is the problem???

are you able to login to your bsnl account in the portal?

Yes!! I can login to my bsnl account in the portal from my friends house and from cafe and not from mine.

did u formeted ur pc? may be ur prob. solved

That is not because of the formatting. At last I investigate the source of the problem with the BSNL people and found the problem in the telephone exchange. and they rectify the problem. Actually that was a problem with the port allocated to me in the tephone exchange.
