The Speed At Night Seem To Have Dropped Considerably I Get Max 80 k Bytes . Sec (2- 8 am ) Any Suggesions Comments How Can I Increase Speed If Possible......... What Do The Massive Downloaders Have to Say.....................

i am getting consistent download speeds around 1.8mbps in night 2-8AM & download around 4.2GB daily when no power cut happens.maybe bsnl is doing some repairing/upgradation work in the area.contact your local exchange & ask them about this.

your download speed doesn't depends on which operating system are you using it depends on numbder of factors like how far are you living from the exchange,your telephone line quality,number of joints in your line etc etc
