    Default Downloads are not Completing

    hi there,

    getting a strange problem these days.
    I am trying to download something from net..even downloadsd does not starting and if at any time they are starting, they dont get completed and stayed on 90% - 99%.

    what is this happening?

    were these things are direct downloads or from some free file hosts .............. try downloading something which are direct download i.e. directly from the main server

    Use idm that may help.

    also try turning off your anti virus for some time to see if it helps.some security suites scan any file downloaded from web just before 100%(i.e.at 99%)to ensure that file is not saved to hard disc fully before scanning finishes.in that case due to this interruption transfer may get stopped.
