Default Applied for BSNL Broadband 2 Months Back

    Hello,

I have applied for BSNL broad band connection two (2) month back but till now i have not got the connection as well as the telephone at all.
Here are the details for connection

    Application NO : APP881136
    Date of registration : 5-Apr-2008
    Exchange : Vimanapura
    Consumer no : 50156428
    work order no . : 65003283

And it is very difficult to get any status about my application. I tried and ended up calling below numbers but never i was successful to get connected to these ppl.

    BSNL Broadband
    22862345

    No's for Vimanapura Office(Banaglore)
    25251010
    25270002

    Marathalli Banagalore
    25264400
    25231010 marathalli
    25230077 JTO

    25297900 Area Manager

I called up all these no's multiple times and my phone was never picked up except the number mentioned at first and that also gives the other contact number and no other info or help is provided.
Finally from other end receiver is put aside to show that phone is buzy.

I am really not getting a way that how exactly i can follow this up and i have almost lost the hopes of getting the connection.
The last and final hope is with this forum and if somehow thru this medium i can get the connection that would be more that a magic for me.

It's really pathetic, 2 months for getting a connection and that too in Bangalore so called "Silicon Vally of India".

    Option 1:

If talking to CC ( customerCare) of your Exchange did not help,
see the J.T.O Junior Technical officer for your area.
( Mention any neighbour/s in your area having BSNL L/L Phone connection)
Usual reply may be "PAIR" not available., meaning there is no free
spare connection in the Exchange for your area.
    If still no satisfactory reply,

    Option 2:

If you have a BSNL Phone number L/L or Cellphone
    http://mis.bsnl.co.in/pgs/internet/pgwebregn.asp
    quote work order.

    Option 3:

IF you don't have a BSNL telephone number ,
Try registering here again, and quote the work order.
    No need to log in.

Feedback please ( whether action taken or not )

How did you apply ? Manual application ? Did you got any receipt or similar proof ?

Try talking to SDE of your exchange. A personal visit will give better results. Normally it takes a month at the maximum. If he fails to acknowledge, make a call to the district headquarters (SSA office) broadband section. They are concerned about the no.s achieved and surely take action.

At the same time, use the link in above post and register a complaint. With BSNL it is not apply and forget, they need continuous reminders to get things done.
