Thread: Strange Problem I am facing

Hi,
I am a BSNL broadband user for last 7 months using 500 home plan.I am using UTStarcomm WA3002-g1 modem. I am facing a strange problem. Though most of the sites are opening but when I am opening my yahoo mailbox it is not opening. This is happening from the day I have started using broadband. When I connect to my office VPN and try to open my yahoo inbox it is opening smoothly. I just want to know is it a BSNL connection problem or some modem issue or it's with my PC. Please help me out.

try changing DNS server addresses in modem/computer.use open dns---208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

I change the DNS address to open dns but still it is not working. Every time yahoo inbox is opening but whenever I try to open a mail it is failing.

In your web browser try clearing all your cookies and browsing history then see if you are able to open it or not,try to open your mailbox from a different web browser .........also try resetting the modem then see if it works

well ive noticed sometimes that certain sites dont work in IE but work in firefox..Since then i've continued with firefox..so try changing your browser
