Hai friends please care before the Setup of ADSL Modem/Router UT-300R2U with Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G . I successfully configured the connection , in my opinion the problem is , SAME IP,

IP ADRESS OF THE DEVICES
--------------------------------------------
BSNL UT-300R2U ------- 192.168.1.1
Lynksys WRT54G ------- 192.168.1.1


it will generate a conflict ....

so i change the ip of UT-300R2U to
-------------------------------

for LAN - 192.168.2.1
for USB - 192.168.2.2

and i followed the setup guide downloaded from here . And now iam enjoying....


And i don't know nothing more about Networking ... so any mistakes in these ..sorrryyyyy.....


In that set up guide MODEM configure and ROUTER configure at " http://192.168.1.1 " , so that will only open the UT-300R2U config page...... if any doubts .....plz reply....

In that set up guide MODEM configure and ROUTER configure at " http://192.168.1.1 " , so that will again and again only open the UT-300R2U config page . Don't use any USB cables , avoid that note in step....


1) In normal mode Connect u r modem to computer via LAN ..

2) and the enter the LAN configure adress , here " http://192.168.2.1 " and follow the setup guide to make the connection ...

3) Connect |modem LAN port |and |Wireless Router Internet port |using a LAN Cable.

|||modem LAN port ||| < --LAN CABLE---------- > |||Wireless Router Internet port |||

4) And Wireless routers have 4 LAN PORTS .Connect one port of these to U r PC ,using LAN Cable.

5) and the enter the LynkSys Wireless Router configure adress , here " http://192.168.1.1 " and follow the setup guide to make the connection successfull .


6) After completing these ,In u r WIFI device (in my case In my laptop) , navigate to " Network Connections " >> WireLess Network Connection >> Connect >> in the new window , there are some connections , make refresh , Click Connect or Rightclick >> properties >> enter u r Key here, u already used in SETUP Guide...

7)Enjoy......
