Thread: Broadband and Telephone billing

I have a BSNL BROADBAND HOME 500 Combo Plus scheme since May 08.Now I have a billing enquiry both for for Telephone and broadband.I know this is not the right forum for Telephone but i could not find any other.This month I got a telephone bill with an added point saying 'Other Charges / Adjustments ' say of about 1200.00 apart from the call charges , service tax, and monthly rental. Do anybody hs an idea what the Other Charges / Adjustments ' can be. It is to be noted when i took the connection they said that the modem of BSNL is free.In the meantime my modem had some problems and they changed the same .I hope they are not including the modem charges or any other broadband charges i dont have any outstandings till now.

Again related to BROADBAND since i have Homme 500 Combo plus (with night unlimited ).Has anybody faced ay billing problem with this .I have nearly download in morning free hours (6.00-7.00) to the tune of 20 GB . If that is included in the bill then I am crushed. I will have a bill of not less than 20000.00. I have nightmares of people getting bills for even data downloaded in free hours. Of course I check my usage details every day and there is no problem over there.

Who in the world told you that you will get a free modem ........ there are certain conditions for providing free modem and i am pretty much sure that rs1200 are for modem charges ..........you have written "they said" i am asking who said this that the modem will be free of cost

Keep a regular check of your usage in your portal if everything is fine there then you dont need to worry .......... just keep downloading like hell!!! just like everybody else
