Thread: problem in connecting.....

i've been facing a peculiar problem wid my brb....or i rather say my P.C of lately....
wen i strt my p.c.....sometimes it would not show d sent and recieved packets in LAN properties......and also my net wud not connect....it hangs at connecting to WAN miniport......and den shows an error....THE REMOTE COMPUTER DID NOT RESPOND......d funny thing is wen i power down my p.c and strt it again it wud work just fyn.......but sometimes i hav to do dis for a couple of times or even more.....

i don't get it.....i dere a problem wid d p.c or d modem......i mean i had to reformat my os (Windows XP sp2)......but d problem persisted....so i am guessin d problem is wid d modem......

PLZ cud someone throw a light on dis issue......it wud b a gr8 help......and save me d time of restarting my p.c dat many times.......

get some other modem & check your PC with that.or connect your modem with some other computer/laptop on your line to check modem.

i wud do that for sure bro.....but i dont know why......i hav a feeling.....cud it b becoz of a Malware/Spyware/Adware.......

and still i don't comprehend how t cud be.......??????
