port forwarding option is not available in ut300r2u.use DMZ option in NAT setting.enter your computer's internal IP address(192.168.1.x)in DMZ & all ports will be forwarded to your computer.make sure that you fix this IP which you use in DMZ by entering this IP in computer LAN TCP/IP properties instead of obtaining IP automatically.also install a good anti virus & firewall because in DMZ your computer is directly connected to net & thus faces a lot of virus/hack attacks.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

once you have NAT-DMZ you can enter any port no, remember to ensure that you have opened the same port in windows firewall.. in utorrent go to preferences and check which port it is listening to.. then type in the same port here Online Port Scanner | Port Scan | Port Scanning | Portscan Tool to see if that port is open successfully!!

As you stated earlier, your modem/router's IP address is 192.168.1.1.

    Step 1:
Just as whitestar suggested earlier, please assign a static IP address to your machine (PC or laptop):

    IP Address = 192.168.1.10
    Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway = 192.168.1.1

    Step 2:
    - Go back to you modem's web interface (http://192.168.1.1).
    - Go to the NAT-DMZ option page and enable it. It will ask you IP address of the machine to be part of the DMZ.
    - Enter IP Address as '192.168.1.10'

    Step 3:
    - Start uTorrent
    - Check that the port is forwarded correctly.
    - Use the latest version of uTorrent that will automatically be allowed as an exclusion from Windows Firewall. Your Windows Firewall will then not affect uTorrent.

if you are on a 2Mbps plan like home 250 or home 500 yes it does make a huge difference otherwise you will get only 30-40KB/s but if you are on an unlimited plan no such difference as your maximum speed is 32KB/s so you will get 20-30 KB/s which are satisfactory

    Thumbs up

I got 10-15 kBps without the DMZ option.. (with the yellow exclamation mark in the bottom). But now after the I activated DMZ its giving me 30-40kBps.. .. When i tried another file with more no. of seeders, it gave me about 25-35kBps, without activating DMZ..It depends on the no. of seeders u have actually

Pleased to meet u.. Cuz we r a part of the unfortunate group, whos got that wierd modem!!
There is a DMZ option.. Go to the 'Advanced..' ---> 'Nat'.. u have the DMZ option.. Type ur IP Adress which u find by Just4kix's method.. Click save.. Ur done.. If u r using Windows Firewall, i better suggest u to get a better Firewall.. Use a good antivirus like Avast(which im using)..

You have to do it step wise..

Step1: u have to set a static ip address..
Goto Start--> Run --> Enter 'cmd'.. a dos prompt window opens.
Type 'ipconfig/all' Press enter.. Note down ur IP address, Subnet Mask(which will generate itself), Default Gateway, and both DNS servers.. If both of ur DNS shows the same as the Defult Gateway, u should find both the (actual)DNS numbers from ur Modem page.. It will be available in the 'Device info' i.e.. the welcome Page itself..
Then Goto Control Panel-->Network Connections--> Open the Local Area Connection which is connected.. Select the 'General' Tab--> Properties--->Click Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)---> Properties---> Under General Tab, select 'Use the following IP Address' ---->> Then enter all the details u found in the DOS prompt. enter the DNS numbers u found on the Modem web page..Click Ok.. U r done.. Now u have Static IP Address..

Step2: To Set u on DMZ..
Note down the static IP Address u previously entered.. To access ur modem page, type 192.168.1.1(default) in your address bar in ur browser.. Select 'Advanced option' ---> 'NAT' .. under NAT u will Find the DMZ option asking u for the IP Address.. enter ur static IP Address there.. Click 'Save/Add'..
Thats it.. u r done.. Now ur IP address is on all the ports..

I once again suggest u to use ur Firewall.. Under exceptions tab in Windows Firewall, keep the utorrent selected.. No need to add extra ports.. Better use a Good Firewall like Zonealarm or Comodo.. Use a Good Anti virus.. Thats enuf to keep ur system safe..

I will repeat....Under advanced i have the following options
    wan
    lan
    security
    routing
    DSL

Under routing i have the option
    Routing -- Default Gateway

If Enable Automatic Assigned Default Gateway checkbox is selected, this router will accept the first received default gateway assignment from one of the PPPoA, PPPoE or MER/DHCP enabled PVC(s). If the checkbox is not selected, enter the static default gateway AND/OR a WAN interface. Click 'Save/Apply' button to save it.

NOTE: If changing the Automatic Assigned Default Gateway from unselected to selected, You must reboot the router to get the automatic assigned default gateway.
    Enable Automatic Assigned Default Gateway
