I’d applied for BSNL 900 UL, waited for 9 days and there came the unfortunate answer from them.. All they had to say was that the name and signature on their form should have been of the Landline telephone holder’s name, but this person’s expired. Transfer of the name to another person takes atlest 15 days and I just about imagined how much more longer it would take for the internet connection to finally land at my home … I cancelled it right away! The fact remains that BSNL people use snails as their vehicles.

Few of my friends have Airtel Broadband and gave me good opinions on that. Yesterday (24.June.2006) I’d been to the Jayanagar 4th Block Airtel office and discussed about their broadband. I was told that their employee would come home in halfhours time and attend to us with the form and documents and collect the necessary documents needed. Well, he did come in 25 minutes time, collected the docus and assured that I’d get the connection in 2-3 days time! So today is 25th and let’s see how fast they are I’ll let you know when I get the connection and including the details .
