For this purpose I can suggest one thing. you can login to mail.bsnl.in there you enter your BB id and password to check the activation mail from BSNL. If they mailed to you then you will get your portal id and password there.

when did u apply for ur connection and how can u be asking for ur portal id and password when its supposed to be delivered to u by mail [not email]? and besides how did u get ur broadband id and password to log into the internet? did u receive these via mobile? surely the people who provided u ur modem must hav also given u a customer care number...

in my case i was given a customer care number and i phoned them and asked. initially they told me they dont know what my user id or password is as it has to be provided from Bangalore where BSNL NIB is. but later when i phoned after a week they told me all my ID's wud be coming to me by courier from Bangalore. and so it did!!
