When ever i type 192.168.1.1
i get nothing...."this page cannot be displayed"

I use pppoe..which means thai i enter the usename and password evertime i need to log in

I have no firewall turned on

Anything else that you guys want to suggest?

I think you are in bridge mode. In bridge mode only u need to enter username and password.
In bridge mode all the ports are open.
Check in utorrent Options -- speed guide--check status of port.
It will show your connection status.
Check windows XP firwall settings ---in exceptions utorrent should be checked--

Welcome to the µTorrent Port Checker.
A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.

Checking port 6112 on 117.198.224.110...

Error! Port 6112 does not appear to be open.

Please see PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall for more information about how to map a port.

Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5).
I have no fire wall on

I have done the dmz settings

I Still get a yellow exclamation mark

Now, what Antivirus u r using?? Keep ur Windows Firewall On, if that is the only firewall u r using, Under exceptions Tab check utorrent.. Thats it.. Thats should be enough.. Give ur antivirus details.. Check whether its just Antivirus or Firewall included..

first of all NEVER POST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN FORUMS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET LOTS OF SPAM MAIL.take a look here to get a basic idea about port forwarding.settings maybe a little differnt for your modem but basic principles are same for all modems.
