| Bronze Member | [quote=Tejaswy;26659]Well i went through the portforwarding tutorials....followed ever step of it..but the problem is here... It wants me to login in to bsnl website and change some settings there.....i am not able to open bsnl website as i get a error message saying [quote] Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. IBM_HTTP_Server/6.1.0.3 Apache/2.0.47 (Unix) PHP/5.2.1 Server at hosting.bsnl.in Port 80 Quote:
I think you are in bridge mode. In bridge mode only u need to enter username and password. In bridge mode all the ports are open. Check in utorrent Options -- speed guide--check status of port. It will show your connection status. Check windows XP firwall settings ---in exceptions utorrent should be checked-- | |

Rep Power: 0 | Now, what Antivirus u r using?? Keep ur Windows Firewall On, if that is the only firewall u r using, Under exceptions Tab check utorrent.. Thats it.. Thats should be enough.. Give ur antivirus details.. Check whether its just Antivirus or Firewall included.. |

| Platinum Member | first of all NEVER POST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN FORUMS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET LOTS OF SPAM MAIL.take a look here to get a basic idea about port forwarding.settings maybe a little differnt for your modem but basic principles are same for all modems. http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...sl2_141-a.html (configuring port forwarding & accessing advanced options in SIEMENS SL2_141)
