    Default Verufying user name and password

    Many a times it so happens that my pc gets stuck in verifying username and password while dialing broad bad,,,
    I get a result that "the dialed server did not respond the the way it was supposed to be"
    is it normal....do you guys face any of these problems?

    I believe that problem is with the exchange. Contact them.

    Anyway try PPPOE mode connection, might help you. Search in this forum for the modem model you use, lot of support docs available for configuring PPPOE mode. If don't get one, let us know.
