    If your router supports wireless network then wifi would be enabled by default. It wont come up with security enabled so your psp should be able to detect and connect to it once you switch on wireless switch in psp. If you are not able to get thr', manually configure IP add, gateway and dns in psp then either

    a) try connecting through network cable or
    b) try connecting through wifi

    IP address in most cases would be 192.168.1.3
    gateway: 192.168.1.1
    dns: 192.168.1.1

    I believe PSP's cant be connected to internet through cables or any wires

    They can only have a WiFi connection.
    So better learn the basics on configuring a system for a WiFi connection.

    @daemonoid

    I dont know the ABC of PSP ( Play station ....?), or for that
    matter so many other wireless devices discussed here.

    If abbreviations are used without giving details of the
    models name type No. etc, you will be searching for ever !,

    Example :" I want to connect my cellphone to Internet !"

    I also cannot learn anything , and then suggest
    to others solutions . It is a learning process.

    I do not know whether your statement is valid.

    Will wait for other users post.
