Thread: Problem accessing some websites

I've BSNL broadband with modem WA3002 G4. Till the modem was working on factory settings, i could access all websites. When I configured wi-fi, some sites stopped working; both on the PC where the modem is installed and the laptop where the wi-fi is used.
Any clue if wi-fi connection causes such a problem?

no.. but you could try changing your DNS servers to opendns .. their ips are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

i'm facing a strange issue for the last few days, some of the websites r opening very slowly or not opening at all for example google, yahoo when i try later they seem to open without any problem. i have checked the computer for virus/spyware and reinstalled win xp. i am using open dns servers. no matter what i try the result is still the same.

please help me find the cause n solution

the problem seems to be on BSNL's side.i too faced this problem where google opens very slow or not at all at certain times but back to normal after some time.
