get a 256kbps unlimited connection to avoid billing issues later on. I have seen so many people moaning about excess billing and all sorts of other billing issues so i you get a unlimited plan then atleast you can be assured that thats how much you will pay every month and no more.
hi,
Is 256kbps enough for video chat bcos i read in previous form that its not enough, I dont want a very clear pic and all. only thing is video should be good no lag
can i get that in unlimited plan
Which video chatting client are you planning to use?
whats the speed of the internet connection on the other end.. the party you will video chat with?
256kbps shouldnt be a problem with video chatting but if you want some very good quality with no lag atall then go for a 2mbps connection in that case.
I dont have a clear idea, but plan to use skype. give me ur suggestion on this since i have not done video chat before.
It is just for family purpose.
for a smooth video chat 256Kbps connection is not enough i prefer you that you go atleast 512kbps which will be enough with no lag at all
SO which plan can i choose. Is plan 500 enough.
really confused
If you can spend rupees 1350+taxes for the unlimited plan then go for the UL1350 plus if not so you can go with home 500C+ plan but if you go with this plan be sure to check your usage otherwise you will end up in amazing bills
Thanks for all your reply
Since you are new to broadband I wont suggest you to get a plan with limited bandwidth as its just too easy to go over your limits and then get a huge bill next month.
I have been using skype for video aswell and it works just fine with 256kbps connection.
yeah admin is correct you will not be able to hold yourself to download stuff and will surely go overlimits but admin i doubt that video call will smooth with 256Kbps connection as i am also on UL750 plan and making a video call is just like ******* fill the stars with your imagination! atleast on BSNL it is not possible for a smooth conversation
true have tried it myself too.. i dont think its good enough!!
