Thread: Billing problem with BSNL

I faced a strange billing problem. I got the General landine connection in January 08.I have Home 500 Combo connection. This month i got the bill. My connection started on 5th May 08 . The telephone bills showd that they have included the full landline rental of Rs 180/- for May.( which should be free for Home Combo , at least pro-rata from the date of connection). Is it normal or shall i complain to the billing authority of BSNL. What are the experiences of other Home Combo Users ??

no rental is for combo users.complain about this.it may be possible that they charged you as per normal home 500.

that should not be because i had night unlimited download of nearly 20 GB .Everything else was correct but only the rental part was confusing

night unlimited is free in normal home 500 plan too.only difference is you have to pay Rs.180 as telephone rental with 50 free calls per month while in combo connection there is no rental.
