Rep Power: 0 | hello guys i recently took bsnl 500c plan... the problem is the connection works perfect for sometime after about 20 minutes it freezes.. i mean the data transfer indicating led stops blinking and all data transfer stops.... hmmm because of this i am not able to schedule downloads using utorrent anymore... i have to restart the modem again to get the internet and the same thijg after 20 - 25 minutes.....what to do??? |

| Bronze Member | u r in which mode Bridge of PPPoE mode? If in PPPoE mode try to change to bridge mode.. |

Rep Power: 1 | I had similar problem with PPPOE and when i switched to bridged mode it got rectified for some time but again had restarted with similar issue. I too would like to know a permanent solution for this issue. |

Rep Power: 0 | my modem is dareglobal db108... hey i changed the mode from PPPoE to Bridged and i think the problem is solved though i will have to wait till tonight... but there is some other problem now...i used windows dialer to dial in and it shows the 2 connected computers... but along with it another same icon is there in taskbar telling there is limited or no connectivity by the lan card... i think its not able to acquire the ip address... internet is working fine eventhough... |

Rep Power: 2 | @carbon why cant you switch to bridged mode? go to your modem settings.. under wan edit vpi/vci 0/35 to bridged .. and create a dialer.. @nimesh limited connectivity normally comes if you arent getting an ip or there is an ipconflict.. go to the command prompt and type ipconfig and post output here..screenshot would do
