i have applied for the connection,

BTW i would like to know whats the total amount i should pay in the beginning r the first month, being a student i have to be ready,

my plan is 500Plus
i have opted for a new telephone connection
modem for rent

how much would they charge me, also do i have to pay monthly charges for the telephone connection?

what about the security deposits and how much will it be in total,

i am getting a new telephone connection plus this 500 plus plan


please let me know

1st month telephone bill will be large:

a) New Telephone Installation charges
b) Telephone Deposit (Rs. 500)
c) Broadband Deposit (Rs. 600)
d) Braodband charges for the month - prorated
e) Modem rent
f) Usage charges (if you exceed the prorated usage for the month)
g) Service Tax @ 12.36% on all of the above (except deposits)

For exact charges, visit their website. You will not be charged for fixed line rental on Home 500C Plus.

Prorated means you will be charged for the portion of the monthly billing cycle. If your billing cycle is 1st to 30th, and your connection was started on 18th, then you will be charged for 18th to 30th. The BB usage will also be prorated accordingly.
