Thread: disconnecting problem

i have a bsnl broad band connection.and when i am downloading from u torrents after some time net is being disconnected but it is showing that as if it is connected but net is stopped and when i try to disconnect its not disconnecting.

which torrent program are you using?also does this problem only occurs while using torrents or even when you use direct downloads.

have you portforwarded for your torrent?

i am using utorrent software for downloading and this disconnection mainly happen when i am downloading when torrents only and but this doesnot occur in in my laptop.so where is the prob is it in pc or net

It's happening here too... connection stays for about a hour ... after that ... poof! It's giving me sleepless nights ..... cannot download anything from torrents...

ok.. just now i faced that problem.. maybe after 2 weeks.. rebooting worked for me!!!

Rebooting does work .. only when you are up and browsing .... but what about when you have scheduled utorrent.....

my port is forwaded correctly 4 this torrent

try disabling DHT & enabling encryption for outgoing connections in utorrent.also limit the max no. of simultaneous connections for all torrents around 150 not more.

is your problem solved or you need some more help

you can try assigning a static IP address and then see if it helps and also it is better to switch to open DNS servers

which mode are you using??
