Thread: Connecting UT300R2U to linksys SPA2102 for VOIP

Hi,

Can someone please help me out. I am using BSNL broadband modem/router UT300R2U. I connected my linksys SPA2102 VOIP router to the BSNL modem. I connected my laptop to the linksys router. I am able to browse the internet but there is no dial tone on my phone line. Please help me in configuring the VOIP router as I really need to use the phone and the internet for work purpose. Or will it be helpful if I lease the Wifi/ethernet modem from BSNL. Really need all the help I can get. I am in Mangalore, Karnataka.

The **** dialling on the phone tells me that it is on DHCP mode. I have enabled PPPoE mode for the internet connection on auto mode. Please let me know if I need to provide more information for someone to help me.

did you access your linksys router and configure the voice settings on the line in which you have connected your telephone? can u please post the screen
