All of us have had (or will have) at least one billing problem with BSNL. Here is my story (one of many).
I have 3 BSNL connections at 3 different locations and hence I very well know how to monitor BSNL usage.
For one of the connection, my Datafox and Portal showed usage for the month of May as 1021MB, just 2MB short of total download limit of Home 250 plan. When the bill arrived, they have charged me Rs 200 extra for additional 223MBs. So one of my staff member had been to BSNL office with a printout from their own website showing the usage for the Month of May. But BSNL employees told him that my Usage 1247MBs.
(I have checked both billed and unbilled usgae for May, Unbilled is 0MB)
Now with this 2 questions come into mind.
A) If what they say is true then their portal for checking usage is totally useless and incorrect.
B) If they are not correct, then they are surely checking someone else's account.
Things get even worse (which also prove point B). In last couple of days I have also noticed that when open the portal with 'my' portal ID and password I see someone else s account details.
Can someone explain this phenomenon? This is really height of dodgy work by BSNL engineers.
