    If you go for Home 750 plan there are no other hidden charges but only Rs. 750 + service tax (which is 12.5% of the amount Rs. 750) that's all you will be charged and no other hidden or extra charges will be levied. But remember UL 750 speed is only up to 256 kbps.

    Home UL = Rs. 750
    Modem rent = Rs. 60
    Tax = Rs. 124

    Total Gross= Rs. 1123

    I have to pay additional Rs. 150/- as security deposit for BSNL landline per month for six months. If you're an old customer you obviously have already paid this amount. Also depending on your plan i.e whether you have plain 750 UL or 750 UL + you'll have to pay for telephone rental or whatever calls you make. I have 750UL + so no phone rental but have to pay for calls @ Rs.1.00 per unit.

    Hope this helps.

    Sufficient for browsing and also general downloading. Not the best for video conferencing etc. I download a lot .. torrents mainly and that too form public trackers, hence not great speed .. if you leave it on the whole day you can DL around 1 - 1.5 GB, whereas in the HOMe 500 combo plans or Home 500 plain you can get nearly 3 - 4 GB just in the free download time i.e 2 AM to 8 AM .. but that depends on the trackers etc.

    Home 750 works for me cause I don't have to worry about extra downloads and turning my modem on and off or scheduling my DLs. Flip side I leave my comp on most of the time .. you decide..

    The greatest disadvantage of Night Free time is that you must restart/reset modem after 2 AM and once again before 8 AM or you will get royally screwed.

    There are scripts that can achieve this automation but then everyone is not an expert at that. Also the script may fail.
