| Platinum Member | you need to open ports in your firewall & do port forwarding in modem setting if your modem is in pppoe mode(in which you get connected by just turning on the modem).just search for port forwarding in the forums.there are a lot of topics about this.

| Bronze Member | Port forwarding can only work .I've had also the same problem in PPPoE mode and could not forward my port effectively finally configured connection in bridge mode. Now getting good down load speed with torrents (according to the seeds availability )

| Bronze Member | yes u can forward port (check threads on port forwarding ). I use to get an average of 180 KBps on my 500 combo plan |

| Junior Member | hey... i have tried port forwarding for my Linksys WAG200G I have followed the instuctions... I was asked to "Take down the IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and Name Servers." where do we get the Name servers ???? |
