Default BSNL broadband Authentication failure

I have taken new BSNL connection 15 days back with own Beetel ADSL Modem
Called the helpline and they gave me my user is and password.

I configured and it was working for 2 days and suddenly third day Data light in the ADSL modem stopped blinking

Have verified the configuration and found that Authentication failure in WAN configuration.

I fed up calling BSNL Guys,

Any help on fixing this , greatly appreciated..

make sure correct password is entered in modem & has not changed.

I dont think its the problem with the password entry.
i happened to me without last week.
However, local JTO resetted my password.
Then only i can continue my browsing.

I think this a common bug in the BSNL server.

yeh.....here in Maharastra......on the SSC result day i got the same error.....coz of lot of load on the servers......i called the BSNL JTO & asked him......he said coz of the load.
Authentication Failure error occurs only when, server denies the password saved in the Modem......that can be considered as the case of the password changed on the server & its different from the Pass stored in modem.

Problem resolved..got hold of JTO.. he resetted the password calling NIB..
