Thread: A few Questions

I had a few questions and a few doubts::

1) i had taken the 900 UL connection for BSNL around december and had paid money for the annual plan(i dont exactly remember how much the discounted price was for the yearly scheme).And recently i saw that the plan changed to 750 UL and the annual to 7500 Rs.Assuming that for the yearly 900 UL plan i had to pay more than 7500 Rs.,will i get cash back or will they increase the time limit i.e. make it a year and two months scheme or something like that.

2)i have ZTE (ZXDSL 531B) router(the one with wi-fi) but i find that the wi-fi is not working properly as the signal strength drastically reduces even if i just leave that room and it almost comes down to 15% by the time i am two rooms away(and the size of the rooms is not that big anyways)So i was wondering which router to buy if i want to use the wi-fi capabilities of the router for laptops and consoles.My friend recommended me a Linksys router, should i buy that one or some other ?


3)I am thinking of changing my current plan to 500 C plan with unlimited usage between 2 and 8 AM because i download quite a lot and i read in this forum that this was the best plan for downloading stuff.i was going there to ask about it so i thought i would first ask here for the proper procedures.

1)they would have normally charged you from dec to april.. and again from april 08 to april 09..it would be adjusted automatically
2)that could be due to the positioning of your wifi router.. place it away from walls,cordless phones,microwaves,.. place it at a height etc..
3)yea .. 500c or 500 is a good plan

* 500c is a gud plan if u want free nite surfing. u get 175 calls free & zero rental for fone.
* Yes, Linksys is a gud one & WRT54G is the most popular model
* better be sure abt the plan change & money adjustment...this is BSNL. make doubly sure abt procedure.

For an average caller and down loader 500 C is d best.
