Thread: how to set up belkin wireless router...

I have a D-Link ADSL router (DSL 502T) through which my bb service is running great. Now, in an effort to upgrade to wireless networking I tried to connect it through a Belkin wireless router (F5D7230-4). My laptop recognizes both individually but somehow these two devices are failing to talk. I followed whatever troubleshootings available in the manuals and the net but of no use. Can any guru out there help me in my home networking? I'm a novice here and need real simple advice.

In the diagram, assume that cable/DSL modem is your DSL 502T, router is your F5D7230-4 router. consider it as wireless router. This is how you have to connect now

First thing to do
a) Connect your modem to laptop. Dont connect your wireless router now.

after connecting, goto start > run > command prompt
type ipconfig /all

paste the output information here
