im not too sure but i think u have to enable dhcp in ur modem settings, to be able to run two computers at one time.

follow this link manish tanwar: Configure (connect) BSNL Type II (Type 2) Modem - ZTE ZXDSL 531B and in step 4 of that tutorial click the 6th picture. there u will see the dhcp setting

But in ur case if u have configured ur modem in PPOE mode then click on [Edit] toward the extreme right of PPOE and then click on next next until u come to dhcp to see if its enabled.

How you are connecting to internet through any dialup or just by plugging cable?

If you are using dialup, you need to configure modem in PPPOE mode instead of bridge mode (dialup)..let me know how you are connecting to internet.

No player2, dhcp is not related to this. Its a different theory.

You can not connect 2 PC in dial up mode(bridge mode), at a time. In this case you will get phone line busy, error code 676. The only way to connect 2 or more PC at a time is pppoe mode.

I dont know how to set up the ppoe mode, particularly in your modem. (As your modem model number is not listed in the modems provided by BSNL, The modem guide which I have.) ) The general procedure is type 192.168.1.1 in your internet explorer address bar. and press enter. Provide user as admin and password as admin, then you will find 'WAN' like somthing. select that option and provide the username and password to that page and save the changes and reboot the modem. when the modem restart, you can browse the internet from both the PC. there is no need to dial anything.

go to WAN/connection settings in your modem.edit the properties of connection named something like 0_35_ & change the type/protocol from bridged to pppoe with rest of settings same.you will be asked to enter your bsnl username/password.enter it without @dataone.in also take a look here to get a general idea---
