Do you have any other firewall installed ? Then try disabling it and try again.

Well then you might not need it.
I get 28- 32 speed in my utorrent without port forwarding.

if you are using virtual server , then no need of DMZ .. have you changed the dlink ip to 192.168.1.2 ?? please post output of virtual server page ... try this online port scanner to see if 54999 is open Online Port Scanner | Port Scan | Port Scanning | Portscan Tool

yea, my router's lan ip is 192.168.1.2. i access my router through this ip using wifi. i have changed it from 1.1 to 1.2.

after scaning to the site i got..........

    -------
    Scanning ports on 117.194.224.183

    117.194.224.183 isn't responding on port 54999 ().
    -------

117.194.224.183 is my dlink router's ip obtain from bsnl using dhcp.
dont know why this port is not responding, though port 54999 in open in windows firewall and router firewall is disabled.

    Virtual Server configurations------
    Connection: Pvc0
LAN IP: 192.168.1.101 (my laptop ip)

    Applied rules :
    Protocol = TCP
    Port Start = 54999
    Port End = 54999
    Port Map = 54999
    Port Map End = 54999

plz tell me if i done anything wrong.

    try tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net.

In new model UT300r2U Under NAT DMZ option is available.
If you are on "Dilaer" mode no need for Port forwarding.

    start RUN type cmd OK
    new window
    type ipconfig /all
    give data here.

Try portforward.com and select your modem. It will have instructions supported with screen shot.
