WLL or Wireless in Local Loop is a CDMA wireless connection. It is not a landline. It is meant for use within a radius of 25 km.

On WLL you cannot expect the same speeds as broadband. WLL will give you high speed internet upto speeds of 144 kbps whereas broadband starts at 256 kbps minimum.

I suggest that you stick to broadband. You can change your plan anytime by submitting a written application (in duplicate) to your exchange. Get the duplicate signed by the BSNL official. Plan change happens in 2/3 days usually.

wll connection of bsnl is based on cdma technology which is also used by likes of relaince and tata indicom , it basically a big mobile phone with limited portability . in my opinion u should just change ur plan to Rs750/256kbps unlimited or u can strech it Rs1350/512kbps unlimited . just go to ur local bsnl telephone exchange and change ur plan from 250 to either of 2. because in WLL(wireless in Local Loop) maximum u can get is 144kbps

if you want broad band dont go for wll
wll will support only 144 kbps connection max

you will be better off using wired land line

wll is generally for ppl like me who stay out side the city where bsnl have not layed cables

wll connection is very very slow.it's max speed is 144kbps(18KBps) only & will cost much more than Rs.250.wll uses CDMA mobile network so it's wireless.
