    Question cant access the internet

    guys i have a problem. i use a utstarcom ut3000r2u. it suddenly stopped working today. it was alrigt yesterday. now i am trapped. im using other system at my neighbours. can anybody whose online plese help me. i downloaded a movie using torrent yesterday but deleted the .nfo file that came along . is this the cause of the problem?? i am totally helpless and the bsnl guys arent so supportimg either. please help

    it's normal .... check the connection tommorrow ... if still not working , then there may be some problem in the line .... call the Engineer

    It has nothing to do with the .nfo file ....

    if you havent changed any configuration then it could be a temporary problem.. if it doesnt get sorted out within 2-3 days.. then get back here we'll try to figure it out

    i'm back guys.
    i just entered the name and passwrd given by bsnl by editing the pppoe setting in modem configuration page. and superprash the site you mentioned, the google search did not work. please give me some tips about port forwarding. can i use the "dmz" option. what is IGMP? should i enable it? even if i use it my torrent speed does not go higher than 55kBps. i also tried torrent with a lotta seeders. what do ya recommend??

    if your router has virtual server option then use that, its better than dmz.. if your utorrent client shows a green tick symbol at the bottom that means port is already open, no need to port forward..

    i'm getting the tick symbol. but i fond out that save/reboot button on modem configuration page under management kinda corrupts the settings. by the way thanks!!!!
