Few days back, I was shocked to get a broadband bill from BSNL for Rs. 5,500.00 with a covering letter that inadvertantly they could not raise the bills for the month of January to June and hence the entire amount was put together with August Bill. I am really surprised how BSNL with such a wide network can commit such mistakes and why their customers are harassed so much ?

Here you are right. This is a case of billing issue but it can be easily rectified. It is a computer generated mistake and you need to make a complaint about the same stating that you never had a BB connection in Jan, 08 and your connection started in June, 08. Your complaint will be redressed without problem. If not, you can go to consumer court for inadvertant and false billing.
