    Exclamation Link Light Flashes Rapidly

    Hi Guys,

Since yesterday I'm facing a very strange problem. When I turn on my Nokia-Siemens C2110 Modem, the link light first blinks slowly (as it is supposed to), but after a minute or two, instead of going stable, it starts blinking rapidly. I'm not able to connect to the net coz of this.

It's only been a month that I've been using BSNL Broadband (and the modem in question), can the Modem go dead so quickly? Or is it a line problem which will be solved automatically? Plz help me out.

I've not checked whether it blinks when the PC is Off but I don't use IPTV. There are no other PCs on the Network, and no, there isn't any Wi-Fi Network.

Iam using d same modem. In PPPoE mode the link LED will blink according to the data transmission. In bridge mode it is stable.

Then about the reliability of this modem within a couple of hours usage my modem died..... Exchanged next day by BSNL. I asked them to give some other model but there were no stock was available.
Now the new modem working fine.
