Default Rapidshare !!

I have 2 BSNL connections which I am using thro Linksys RV042 load balancing router so that i get 4mbps throput. my both connections are nite unltd. plans & i have rapidshare premium a/c by which i dwnld movies. Till now everything was working fine. but since last 10 days rapidshare has made lot of changes on their site. & bcoz of this i am not able to dwnld thro my Linksys router. whenever i try to dwnld it gives me a error that another IP is already using this a/c. which by chking i found that it is one of the two ip leased out to me. when i turn off one modem than it does not give ne error. previously rapidshare used to allow two simultaneous dwnlds even from different locations.

nebody knows ne work around for this problem?

i dont think 2 2mbps connections would give you 4 mbps output ..you would get only 2mbps.. only 1 of the connections would be used..

obviously to prevent abuse rapidshare will not allow downloading from 2 different IP's simultaneously.

For your information RV042 does the things. I am also using it. And it does not use only 1 connection but uses both connections at a time. Generally what download speed do you get with 1 Home 500 connection using a download manager? 200, 225 ??? When you use RV042 as the anusheri said u get around 400. I feel thats a great jump.

But i would appreciate if someone can answer anusheri's querry.

ok.. yes with hardware like RV042 its possible.. but not when you directly connect two different connections to your computer from two LAN cards...

you won't get double the bandwidth on a single download by using load balancing router.the best you will get is suppose you started a download you will get 200KBps & then you start another download & you will get 200KBps on that too from the 2nd connection.it does not mean you will be able to download a single file with 400KBps & that is why the problem of rapidshare because it will not allow you to download files from 2 different IP's using same account.

Since one year I procured RV042 i was dwnlding from rapidshare at 400-450KBps and all other sites. I am facing this problem only on RS, since they did all this changes. & even today i am dwnding files at more than 400KBps from all other sites other than rapidshare. U are right that one cant get 400 speed but that is true only when u r not using a dwnld mngr.

What i hv come to know is when u use dwnld mngr it creates multiple sessions & will pass request for certain sessions to one & rest sessions to other connection. If u want I can post screenshots of Flashget...showing one single file being dwnlded at around 400KBps.

even isps also use this klnd of routers (not exactly this one) for redundancy as well speed multiplications, as they buy bandwidth from diff. providers.

cool man
so you just pay Rs 1000 and get 4 mbps night unlimited
that is really cool

I am paying as much or may be more but still on 384 kbps
