I configured my ZXDSL 831AII using tutorial availalable in this forum.
My modem is not in Always On mode. Every time I have to go to internet connection then only i can connect to BB.
My modem setting is in PPPoE LLC/SNAP protocol only.

i dont have an exact guide for this.. but the basic method to do this is login to your router http://192.168.1.1 ..go to your WAN page and edit the vpi/vci 0/35 .. there change from bridged mode to ppoe mode and enter your bsnl username and password there.. save/reboot router..
for reference : Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How To setup PPOE mode (Automatic Dialing) in UT300R2U .. different modem, but steps similar
