i am dwnlding a gme using torrent that has mdf extsn. has someone did this b4? i wanna know if this really works. i recently downloaded hulk movie that was in .rar format which didnt work. thats why i'm getting suspicious......

to open a rar file u need win rar software to extract the file. google it , its a free software
just right click the first rar file in folder , u will get an option to extract to specified folder, and it will extract the whole movie to the folder specified by u

mdf files are one of several CD image formats that Alcohol 120% can mount. Alcohol 120% is used for media backup. IsoBuster can interpret these files directly.

For MDF files you need "Alcohol 120%" or "Daemon Tools". MDF is a disk image like .iso or .nrg (nero).

and hey whyzee7 next time u download something through torrents go through the comments... it will in most cases give an idea abt the content of the torrent...

yes thats true always read the comments of a torrent. cos most of the time they speak the correct thing about the torrent.

and POWER ISO is another software which can actually mount the image directly as if it were in ur CD Or DVD tray and then u cud do an installation directly without burning the software to cd/dvd

or u watch the movie directly without burning to cd.

but there are cases where u will have to extract and then burn the software especially if its gonna ask u to reboot to complete the installation. then u will hav a prob.

but otherwise just to know whats inside the file u downloaded as .mdf or for burning that file to cd/dvd then Power ISO is perfect.

Dont download random torrents seeing the seeds and leechers.Get the torrents from advisable sites like mininova.org , Demonoid.com ,isohunt.com .
